Lithium-ion battery costs have come to the price point where they are competitive with comparable lead acid batteries. With the 15-year, maintenance-free life expectancy of the lithium-ion batteries inside our systems, customers will have lower Total Cost of Ownership with the purchase of a N1C Lithium-Ion UPS.

Our models range from 1kVA to 10kVA* (6 & 10kVA due mid 2019) in single-phase, and 20-30kVA in three-phase for those needing higher power models.

All feature internal lithium-ion batteries and several of the single-phase units can have extended runtimes — up to 6 hours at full load — with the purchase of additional 2U battery packs.

Double Conversion

All N1C Lithium-Ion UPS systems offer best-in-the-industry Online Double-Conversion technology, delivering clean, pure power, 100% of the time.

Connectivity

Unlike many competitors, single-phase UPS systems come with SNMP cards standard, featuring network monitoring and control with included software.

Recharge Rates

Lithium-Ion batteries have faster recharge times, reducing energy costs and preparing UPS systems faster in the event of a recurring power outages or surges.

Life Span

The average life span of a VRLA battery is 4-6 years in ideal conditions. N1C Li-Ion battery life span is 10-15 years in nearly all conditions. Long life
batteries reduce the burden and cost of down time and maintenance.

High Power Density

Lithium Ion batteries have over 5 times the energy density and take up about 1/3 the space of a VRLA based solution that delivers the same power. This means more power in the same or smaller footprint.

Charge and Recharge Efficiency

N1C Lithium Ion batteries can be charged/ discharged over 1000 times versus 200-400 charges/ discharges for standard VRLA batteries. N1C Lithium UPS units include built in chargers capable of 1-hour recharge times, compared to 4-10 hour recharge times of VRLA battery UPS systems.

Smaller Footprint

A smaller footprint translates to reduced cooling requirements as well as about a two thirds reduction in weight. This offers the installation flexibility needed by many IT departments.

Environmentally Friendly

Other than the obvious, that Lithium Ion batteries do not use lead, there are many other “green” benefits of lithium. Lithium batteries require less charging time and power, need to be replaced less often, and take less energy to produce and transport.

Heat Tolerant

L-Series UPS units can withstand working temperatures up to 140 ̊F. Where VRLA battery life is reduced by half for every 10 ̊F over 70F, Li-Ion battery life is unaffected.

We also include, for FREE, integrated software with all L-series and XL-series UPS systems. The software allows users to monitor and control up to 1,000 N1C devices on a network. Get warned about problems. Monitor real-time data. Schedule delivery of status and event logs to multiple emails. And more.
